A question for anyone with an internally pinned Glock magazine

How are they pinned? Is it a plug of some type? My Dad lives in the states and comes across the 17 and 33 round mags for decent prices and wants to send me some. I'd like to tell him how he can pin them before they cross the border. Any information or pictures are appreciated.

You can buy mag block (plug), it's an plastic bloc insert that goes in the mag.
All my G17 mags are like that (10/17), this is not like a "permanent" pinned but recieved mine like that.
Sporteque here in Quebec stock them usually but is out of stock right now for G17 mags!
(I also have a 5/20 pmag "pinned" like that)

Same thing here. It's a little plastic bloc inside the mag. I also bought them at Sporteque. They sell the bloc for 3-4$ I think.

Look at your mags, 10rd mags have a single row of witness holes, this is what normally comes with a new gun in Canada. Pinned or blocked mags have a double set of staggered witness holes and you normally have to find these yourself. No, the 10rd mags are not made specifically for Canada.
