There is a "pit" under the prone position platform. Remove the platform, climb down into the pit, and you take up your position for kneeling and standing postions.
there is a hidden swiss range near Vancouver somewhere that has a similar camera set etc. I have seen pics.
It looks too clinical, too sheltered.......you cannot do anything other than lying down on the belly?
and you also can't shoot anything else then swiss issue rifles. If you show up with an AR15, all those old farts will have a heartattack![]()
looks like the Guntelsey-range in Thun. Shot a competition there (25m though)
Well they are great ranges and I'm sure fun in their own way but really only suited for bulls eye/and "restricted" service rifle shooting (ie no run ups). I’m sure the rules are too many and to controlling for me. They’re not the "dynamic" type range you need for IPSC and IPDA. I think that is what GT means by too “clinical”.
Oh, you mean Like Biathlon. Lots of run up there.
