Where would I find out how much a Springfield m14 is worth? Its In a fibre stock and has the selector switch but it is welded so it's only semi.has two twenty round mags not pined.this guy has had it for 35 years
I have a nor,but thinking I might like to own this one. He is asking 2000 is he in line?

A real M-14, even with a welded selector switch, would be a prohibited firearm, and the un-pinned 20-round magazines would be prohibited devices. Even if you've got the appropriate prohib license $2000 seems like an awful lot for something you can't even take to the range and shoot...

If I was looking at prohibited rifles with 2k to spend I would probably be looking at an FN FAL, rather than an M14 personally. You might find comparables on the canadian used gun sites though like www.guntrader.ca

2000 is almost the same price as a new m1a. But at least u can shoot the m1a. If i had a prohib license and an extra 2000 i would take it just cause its awesome lol

Last year I picked up a converted auto M14 for $1000. You could have the receiver changed with a Norc one and it would then be non restricted. Think that is eventually what I will do as the numbers of prohib owners drop

You can only buy that with a prohib 12(x) status on your liscence.
2000.00 is a super silly price. Considering they sold for a 1/8th of that in early 90's
650.00 to 1000.00 max , and I've paid that for over 20 of them to date.

Wolverine Supplies had one for sale for $950. Pistol grip E2 style stock. Not sure if it was real or a replacement stock - noticed camo paint on it so I think not. But I'm not up on the E2s.

Another one of our ridiculous rules. Grind the the selector mounting hump off the receiver and it's identical to the Norinco version .

Grizz

Yep. That says it all. Anything you cant shoot is a wast of money. Go to http://www.irunguns.ca/ buy an M1A there. Any firearm in Canada that can be fully automatic IS Prohibited.

Way too much money unless yur a gang banger and need a macinegun, then 2000 bucks is cheap for only a welded selector switch. In Kanukstan U would be in deep kimchee if the popo found it in yur posession. 2000 bucks is way too much money for a 35 year old illegal rifle for a law abiding gun owner. Get a brand new Norenco for around 600 bucks from Marstars and save yourself the potential grief. Oh that unpind 20 round mag ell getcha 3 years in the slam.

Its quite the lovly rifle, but other than that it's a nice wall ordainment. Can't do much more with it than that up here. No offense.

The U. S. A. has A LOT of problems but for now any time I want and if the Jeep is running I can take it (M14A1) out to my friend's property or National Forest land or even Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land and turn "perfectly good ammunition into noise at a prodigious rate".

A$$hole :p Rub it in ;) The only place I can do that is if Im with the watch with my C7. Wish I could just go out back and let er rip...
