I had discusion with Steve from Irunguns, and i have on layaway my Ruger SR762 308 piston AR, those are great peoples to deal with, made a nice business arrangement with them, i guess, i am all set for that RPAL to show up... JP.

congrats. looks like a great gun. I have my eye on an AR10 platform too. was looking at this one and the sig716, however, irunguns have some nice armalites. just need to wait for my tax return

LMAO

Didn't you sell off all of your semi's just awhile back?

Now all I see is Restricted's, and Semi's added to your collection. LOL

Regardless, I always enjoy getting jealous every time I see your posts.

Sold one MR-1, one XCR-M, and one Swiss black special to some nice gentlemens in Ontario but since that time, manys have joined the herd and restricteds are joining the club soon, i never tough i would be so passionate about SA rifles, especially accurate ones... JP.

Caramel, what do you do for a living? I clearly chose the wrong profession.

I do nothing related to work, only fun things, taking care of my grandkids first, i am retired wih a good pension and returns of good Real estate investments made when i was on the market, i am living the plan i made 30 years ago, if i except a heart attack and a cancer ( all cured, like a new man), everything is full on schedule... JP.

You got that right, without health and love, the rest is futile... JP.

I'm going to humbly suggest, since you seem to enjoy accurate quality rifles more, that you sell the dpms and ruger and use the funds to buy yourself an lmt mws or a kac sr25. Or if leaning even more towards accuracy over other uses, a gap-10, les Baer, or jp.
Those are all much higher end products...

What did you think of the black special ? And also yea never know when you might die might as well enjoy your retirement and spend that inheritance cash. Not like guns are a bad investment that super match you bought a while back is worth like two hundred more based on the dollar change . That being said this ruger is going to be they much more lol. It's awesome someone wants to spend there cash and share some pictures. Thanks look forward to the farm range report and the pics and thoughts. I get it I just about died in a motorcycle crash now I buy what I want life is short. I also save some money too. you gotta buy some nice things sometimes

Caramel, I wish you many, many years of good health. Even though you make me green with envy, you seem like a genuinely good person. I hope you enjoy your new acquisition.

Congrats all the way. I have always felt real estate is the way to go. Enjoy your arsenal :)

For starter, i wanted one D.I. and one piston AR, there is a KAC-25 SR E.C. 16 inch carbine in my future as they are top shelve, i know myself to well.... JP.

The Black special is a great rifle, accurate but heavy and for myself the biggest problem is the caliber, i am a 308 man, nothing againt 223 but it wont be my first choice, i have to say here, that the Benelli MR-1 while not being on the same shelve as the Swiss is a rifle that i highly recomend, accurate and reliable to the extreme... JP.

If you think the Black Special is heavy you'll probably be disappointed with the weight of a typical .308 AR.

For sure, go with the kac if you want to use it like a carbine.
I use my mws like that, and after a day of doing barricade drills, my core is pretty smoked. And I'd say I'm in above average shape.

For a range use only ( restricteds), the weight is not important, i went marmots hunting once with my Swiss and after that i took my MR-1, they were both accurate for shots up to 300 metres and the Benelli was more friendly to carry... JP.

Since this canadian dollar of us is diving slowly, i am in a shopping frenzy to buy a top notch optic for my Ruger, but know that i have heard what Greentips did report from Shot show on the Elcan Specter 1X3X9, i think ,i will be worthed a little money drop to wait for these, it could be the perfect optic for this rifle... JP.
