A sad day for the hunting brotherhood

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
Henry David Thoreau,

my idea for a quote
sorry for your loss

Sorry to hear of his passing. Chin up, he would not want you to be sad long. Very nice of you to mount the rack for his family.

Regards
Jay

Very sorry for your loss. We lost a favourite member of our hunt camp (brother anduncle, friend to everyone) one year ago today to cancer as well. It was a hard first night at camp without him, but we made it through. Cherish your memories and know he will be there when you make new ones as well.

Where Larry is the grass is green, deer are plenty, and there is no more pain of Cancer. I lost a good buddy a couple years back same damn disease. I would bet my buddy Ken and Larry will have the coffee on and all the best spots scouted for when we join them at the big camp in the sky.

Sorry for the loss of your friend.

Sounds like a hell of a man, its unfortunate that cancer is such an everpresent disease. Head up as you and his family will always have the fond memories!

Thanks for all the kind words. Larry and I talked a lot about politics and the registry. Tomorrow I go to his funerl. I can't stop thinking that he is smiling over tonights election results and the upcoming removal of the registry.

THIS ONES FOR YOU BUDDY!

Condolences my friend. Cherish those great memories and pass on what he taught you. He made a big impression on your life, thank you for sharing it with us. What a great idea making that plaque in his memory.
Prayers for you and his family.
