I'VE SEEN THE NICE COMMERCIAL STANDS FOR SPOTTING SCOPES BUT HAS ANYONE A PLAN FOR A DECENT STAND?

Just look around on ebay and pick up a decent tripod...by the time you build your own the cost will be up there and it will be heavy, cumbersome and you wont want to use it.
