People gladly fork over 500-700 dollars for US made pistols with known qc issues like it's nothing. How is 400 too much for a russian made sub gun with two magazines and a folding stock? like really 800 is reasonable consider some of the prices of kel-tec and even hi-point have been set at...

Russians USED to make solid guns. That is not set in stone anymore. Just because it's russian doesn't guarantee anything. I'd pay the same rate for it if it was made in North America or China. And some stuff coming out of China is better than the NA original at less than 25% the cost.

it's too early to discuss parts with manufacturer, first we need FRT# but it shouldn't be a problem to get more magazines

For gawds sake, take the folding stock off, submit it as a "handgun" and then offer the stock later as an accessory! (I'm assuming the wire stock can come off similar to my CZ92).

If they do that or at least weld the stock it can be sold in the US market as a handgun with no restrictions what so ever.

I don't think they could get enough "points" for it to be imported to the US. Look at the weird #### they do to get rifles and shotguns in...

The .32 cal Skorpion was imported in the past few years.

all non issues if imported as a handgun. Thats only for long guns.

i have been waiting and looking at the picture Tea pot 2 showed me over a year ago at the edmonton gun show i said i would take two then and meant it .So I hope that still puts me first in line. wink wink

You're not seeing the big picture. Once the registry is gone, being able to convert guns like this to unregistered non-restricted rifles is a way bigger perk than having 10 vs 5 round magazines.

I'd do it. Just to have it unregistered. You can still keep the restricted barrell for later if you want to re-register it as restricted.
