Calibre and cartridge are 2 different things!

The bullets are 9mm but in a .380 ACP cartridge.

The only way I'd consider something like this is if the price was reasonable and if it came in 9x19mm or another common N. American caliber.
380 is a dead deal breaker and I'd hazard a guess it would be for a vast many others too - even some that are saying they'd take one...

Last time a bunch of cool Russian guns came in and went to the RCMP for classification (Saiga semi-auto AK look-alikes), they found them to be evil baby-eating machines and classed them as "prohibited"... despite these guns having newly manufactured semi-auto only receivers and no full auto parts whatsoever (completely new manufacture, no NOS parts).

So, we'll have to see what kind of a reception this puppy gets from our finest firearm techs in the country... and if they can convert it into a full-auto rail gun capable of shooting down earth-orbiting satellites in their funky CFC machine shop!

it's too early to discuss parts with manufacturer, first we need FRT# but it shouldn't be a problem to get more magazines

That evil, evil folding stock makes it a "carbine" rather than a pistol. Hence the 5/20rd mags. Same deal as the TP9/TMP and a few others.
