Anyone ever actually see and A-Square rifle in Canada?
just curious if any made it north.

About 4 yrs ago, a fellow at my range had a 500 A Square. Let me shoot it. Once was enough:)

Never saw the guy again. He probably died of acute recoil poisoning.

I just tryed to call A Square Co. With all numbers disconnected ? Me and a friend would like to order a Hannibal big bore.
They may not be pretty, but work flawless under extreme conditions, and the stock takes the bite out of these rifles.
Half of African game departments still use these everyday!
Anyone have one for sale in 375 -458 cal?

Yeah they had some financial issues, you need to go through Sharps Rifle Company.

I'm not the least bit warmed by the appearance of the A Square rifles, but Art Alphin's A Square loading manual has a hugh amount of information for anyone interested in big game rifles, cartridges , and terminal ballistics. If you want a rifle that will kick you silly, check out Profit River's consignment page. Near the bottom of the page there's a MK-V Weatherby chambered for .500 WBY, which is essentially the same as a .500 A Square, or a .510 Wells IIRC. If I had bucket fulls of cash, I'd own it.

Seems like the logic of the average gunnut! :)
