I`m determined not to give them any help. There are a ton of chest beaters here who think if they shout lots about potential misses that'll help - doing anything less means you're not "free" or something along those lines.

I personally get a kick out of non gun folks making lists of guns to ban. They're not as well versed as they sometimes think.

This OP is helping antis here and he does not understand this or maybe he does understand it clearly and gets paid for it. It is a waste of time telling him this.
I’s sure he enjoys sh!!!ting in his own nest by doing so. Not worth talking to such a crap. A disgrace to a firearms community.

I dunno what exactly the plan is but to think they “missed” some because their either lazy or incompetent is just being naive . If u actually read the ban you would have seen the little paragraph that states “ if a shift happens to other firearms to reaplace those currently banned , they will also include said firearms to the ban “

So going off that little piece that they added , my logic says they didn’t wanna piss everyone off at once but if they get indication of people switching to different platforms to fill the void , they will act on it . Now how do you reckon they will know what’s selling and what’s not ?
 
I don't post frequently anymore, mostly because this forum is a cesspool of misinformation, but anyone that thinks that this post will help the antis is deluding themselves. The government already knows what guns they're chasing next, and infighting about "making it easier for them" and calling for the mods to take down posts that are trying to help the rest of the community figure out what they're going to do next is asinine.

Give your heads a shake, go back to the Off Topic forums you came from, and stop antagonizing someone who's using some wit and flair to develop a great summary of other options for people who just found out that their AR is effectively useless, but they still have a whack of 5.56 and AR mags in the basement and need something to use them.

Good list and yes we have some options left for us at this time. I will admit that i was surprised that some of these weren't on the prohibition orders. Happy but surprised. Throught the SKS was a goner for sure.
 
Anyone who thinks that ANY gun is safe right now is delusional.

Just as Hitler did, everything JT and his predecessors have done to disarm the people has been done in compliance with the law of the land. When the law didn't suit the agenda, it was changed or ignored.

For years I've been advising people to get and READ a copy of "Gun Control - Gateway To Tyranny" by the late Aaron Zelman. As you can tell by the name, Zelman was a Jew.

It is a page by page comparison the 1938 Nazi gun laws and the US 1968 Gun Control Act. It is also what inspired OUR anti-gun laws, using the same terminology and methodology.

If you want to know how and why we should be afraid - VERY afraid, get a copy from the JPFO for $25. If you don't want to do that, send $25 to gun org of your choice. Every bit helps.

In the meantime, time to haul down the Maple Leaf flag over the House of Commons and raise the Hammer & Sickle to make it fait accompli.

What's the difference? Oh, we haven't moved anyone to the gulags - yet .....

Read the last line in Turduck's OIC
It states quite clearly that they intend to ban additional firearms that have not currently been banned
If you own something that hasn't been banned, enjoy the crap out of shooting it, and get others people in on enjoying shooting it too
You may want to keep info on specific makes and models under your hat though
Canada's current government is incredibly vindictive as proven by their actions (and inactions) since 2015
 
I'm fairly new to the sport (still waiting on my RPAL to be processed) and I very much appreciate this list.

I guess what still isn't clear to me though, and maybe I just haven't come across this info yet... Are all these in the OP not on the new list? The Modern Sporter? How does it avoid falling into the "and any variants" part of the AR-15 list?

The Liberal party bit off more than they could chew when they rammed through the firearms registry, way back when. They learned from that mistake, and aren't likely to make it again.

The end result will be the same, though. This time, they are dividing us up into smaller, more manageable chunks, instead of trying to rob us all at once.

Sorry for the noob question, but how do we know? What is the defining difference?

Reading the description of the FRT report, it would seem to share almost everything in common with an AR-15...

It seems the only thing that would differentiate it from an AR-15 is the section under Canadian Law Comments...
