No, Now that I am officially old my wife says I am too mature for those sort of shenanigans.

LoL
Now i want to hear about making that Chili !
Instapot vs
crock pot vs
stove top pot
Stove top. About 8 quarts in that batch.
4 pounds or so of medium grind deer meat. Home grown tomatoes. Home grown green peppers. A couple of home grown Bhut Jolokia Chilies (Ghost Peppers

) for heat.
Also, an industrial size can of kidney beans along with generous portions of Chilli Powder and Paprika and onions, celery, and white mushroom.
Browned the meat and slow-simmered for 5 or 6 hours.
Congrats to you and your daughter, 'Boo. Always nice when
things come together.

Dave.
Thanks Dave.
Looks mighty tasty, obviously you both did everything right.
Thanks for sharing,
Rob
Thanks Rob. I hate to admit it but while my daughter usually keeps up her end of the deal I sort of screwed up with my deer. I was out by myself trying to catch the bucks coming off the mountain as they worked their way down to some agricultural land near the river.
While we were out the week earlier hunting up an animal for my favorite (one and only

) child we bumped a massive-body large racked typical mule deer that probably would have scored ~180 inches out of his bed. The old guy didn't get to be that large by being stupid and he would only come down out of the thick bush right at full dark. As last Sunday was the last day I would be able to get out hunting for several weeks I waited until the last half hour and after passing up a few younger bucks I put the hammer down on a 2 1/2 year old buck. As I should of known as I was walking up to him who do I see standing a hundred yards up the slope? Yep it was the old guy and I swear to God he was just standing there mocking me.
