I have always loved snub wheel guns.....had a bunch come and go over the years. Some where too wimpy and some were two ugly. Some were so so and I always seem to relent and sell them to friends who "just had to have them". I have some .357 and .44 subbies.....but these two little .38's are my favourites. The Colt Cobra feels natural in my big mitt of a hand and it has 6 rounds...it is by far the most accurate snubby i have ever shot. The Smith and Wesson 442 is a nifty pocket rocket....the 442's are rare in Canada and I have yet to run into anyone else at the range with one. Even with only 5 rounds it is a great belly gun for point and shoot. its trigger is consistent and it points like a finger....

I was cleaning out some of the safes of things I never use and thought I'd grab a picture of the little pair

You folks that show off your 12-6 treasures really tick me off!!!!!!

Just kidding.... well.... mostly..... :D

I just wish I'd gotten into all this 15 years ago when I would have been able to get in before the door closed. I'd love to have stuff like this along with things like PPK's and the like.

Very nice! You're right about the 442--there would be very few of them. The Centennial design is cool--although I've never fired either I prefer the look to the Bodyguard when it comes to shrouded hammer S&Ws. I shot my Detective Special prone at 50m once and I was able to get probably a 12" group--they are indeed accurate!

This is the closest I've come to tears since my daughter was born. They're so beautiful! I want a snub-nose more than any other firearm. I hope you guys know how lucky you are and shoot them often.

Here's my youngest daughter shooting my Model 36--I'll never be able to sell this one since it's her favourite of my handguns. She did find the recoil a bit more than she was expecting! (no flinch, though!) It's the only snubby revolver I own now.

The stainless one at top is a 624 in 44 special, and the blued is a model 19, and the bottom is a Ruger sp101 in 9mm. I find I'm underwhelmed by both the .357 and the 9mm, but definitely get a hard on over the 44 spl
