A tale of two subbies

out of all the guns i own deep down inside i will always dream of a snubby wheel gun.

i was one of the fellas who had their 12-6 clawed back by the gov't as i got my first shorty during that grey time where they where quaffing back and forth.

if i ever moved to the states my first purchase would be a Bodyguard or a 422 or a M&P 340.

*looks off and dreams*

My model 12 Airweight (middle) weighs only 20 oz, holds 6 rounds and has that wonderfully light K frame DA/SA trigger.

My revolvers have to have stock grips and a Tyler T grip adaptor. They're old school plus in a CCW world, they conceal better as they are slimmer and not as grippy as rubber.

The stainless one at top is a 624 in 44 special, and the blued is a model 19, and the bottom is a Ruger sp101 in 9mm. I find I'm underwhelmed by both the .357 and the 9mm, but definitely get a hard on over the 44 spl

If you're so underwhelmed by the model 19 , I'd be happy to take it off your hands... If the law ever changes.

I'm actually making that decision right now. Mind you it's a nice gun and mint to boot, it just kind of pales beside the 44. I do think some Rosewood grips like the 44 would dress it up a bit though.

Saw a beautiful Smith Model 60 at a gun shop yesterday for $299. Like a dumb #### I let my FAC expire back in the day and can no longer buy these awesome 12.6s. Have owned at least 10 of these shortys, again back in the day!
