that's just plain stupid- if you want to go f/a you need a belt feed like an rpd- same deal for ANY full auto, unless size is a requirement- the rest is just spray and pray to have fun

very simply answer cos you can be assured you will get a very nice russian SKS from westrfile, westrifle has provided plenty of pic of the individual rifle on their site.

with other dealers i bot my 20 russian SKS from , not one ever sent me a pic of what i was buying, its was like a box of chocolat, i never know what i was gonna get.

Customer service with West rifle is A+ and so is there product. I will happly pay extra for that.

Haven't bought from them, but saw their pics, and the sks45's did look in great condition. However, the attitude of "Why would you need full auto?" irks me. However, this is the internet, and perhaps his question was simply out of interest and not a statement that there's no sense in it.

Sure, full auto is pretty useless here with 5 round mags :\ but if the semi-auto mag capacity limits ever ever got removed, and full-autos bumped down from prohibited they could be really fun to play with at the range.

Funny,I bought over 50 Russians. Had pictures of all of them before purchase except the ones from Yorkton. Knew exactly what I was getting before I plunked my $$$ down.

that is funny cos you and i started buying russian at the same time, i bought all mine from dealers and not in person during the IZH first shipment frenzy and there was no way all the dealers had any time or willing to take any pics, that is why there was so many complaint from members ordering collector grade and ending up with shooter grade.

so you bought all 50 from dealers long distance and not in person?
even things has calm down since but not all dealer willing to send detail pic.
