A video about t97 take some extremely condition tests (Part 2 updated!)

your better off comparing it to a t97a, the front sight is one piece for ease of production, the trigger is plastic instead of metal, the barrel is slightly longer than the t97a, the reciever is different inside for the trigger group. The gas block lacks the bayo lug. So from this its a very sporter oriented rifle, whereas the 97a is an export military version

i meant quality/reliability wise. I wonder if there is any difference

OP welcome to the site. A lot of us appreciate your effort to help us understand the video. Feel free to share your thoughts especially if it is reflective of the Chinese view. Is private ownership of firearms allowed in China? What conditions do you have to follow in order to own one?

It must be very sad for you that we can enjoy guns from your country, but you cannot (as a civilian).

Hi there, thanks! For your question, private ownership of firearms is not allowed in China mostly, as far as I know only a few minority nationalities are allowed to own a hunting rifle since it's they tradition to live by hunting. Surprise, I know...If I want give some shoot, some shooting club is my only choice.

This video has a part 2, I'm kind of busy these day (Overtime until 11 p.m), so I'm plan to translate it at this weekend. Do come back and check it out!

....yeah, that's true. All I can do is play some video games on my computer. I used to talk with my girlfriend if we choose to immigrate where is our destination, and both of us agreed that Canada would be our choose. For different reason, though.

Welcome to the forum!
Thank you for taking the time to help out some Canadian firearms owners!
Please don't be dissuaded by some members...
I may not own a 97, but it's always good to see stuff like this!

Great Job. Thanks for sharing. Could you please post part 2 of the first video. There are quite a few Chinese documentary on the QBZ-95 and extreme test. They are all in Mandarin.
Current Norinco products are excellent and is improving. MAK-90 (type 56) owners in America have posted their videos on YOUTUBE and they say the quality of the rifles are excellent.
In fact the steel is even stronger.
The Norinco quality stigma is from years gone by , just like the M16 you find critics who still have this mindset that M16's jam all the time. The M16 was fixed 40 years ago.

Thanks for reply! There are some specialized vocabulary in part 2 and I'm not familiar with them, both in Chinese and English...So there is some delay, but I will do my best. Gonna post it here as some as possible, if you see the title been updated, come in and check it!:D

Welcome to the site! It always pleases me to see foreign visitors who can talk about their country's firearms. Some very interesting videos, thanks for sharing them and taking the time to translate!

I own several Norinco firearms and have had others. Some were not so good (NP-34, copy of SIG P228, firing pin broke from dry firing) but the rest are wonderful. Hope you can make it to Canada some day, we will go shooting together!
