A Yankee and a Brit.

In April 1973 we purchased 100 .63 cal. lead balls for the Brit. from Dixie Gun Works. (4 cents each)

In September 2021 I bought a .54 caliber paper cartridge for the Yankee.

The Aston may fetch $1500 to $1700. The Navy-marked pistols will fetch a small amount more than the US-marked. It's still dependent on condition, though. The Brit would fetch maybe $1200. Robert Wheeler & Son were active in Birmingham from 1828 to 1843. Single-shot percussion guns are hard to sell, unfortunately.

Thanks for your comments.
I am glad that I don't want to sell them
They are the only single shot pistols that I own.

This is more the flavor of my collection.

I SOLD ALL OF THIS STUFF SOME TIME AGO. (I am glad that I did.)
