A1 buttstock in canada??

Hello CGN,

I recently picked up an A2 buttstock kit for my MDT LSS. While I love the setup as it is, the LOP is a bit long, due to the fact that the MDT fixed stock adapter adds .75". I can use it but I'd rather find a better solution. I took the buttplate off just to see how the LOP felt, and it's just about perfect.

I know the A1 stock is 5/8"/ .6" shorter. That's a little more than the thickness of the A2 buttplate (.4"). That should bring me closer what the LOP should be with an A2.

Anyone know where I might find an A1 stock? Or if anyone wants to swap my A2 for an A1, PM me.

I did see brownells has them. Looks like they might be the best option for now. I'm going to keep an eye on the EE and take it for at least 1 more trip as is before I order anything from the USofA.

It doesnt feel horrible, but I can get a much better position with a shorter stock. The alternative might be to sell off the LSS and get into one of the XL gen 2 chassis which won't require the adapter.
 
Price is good too. I’m almost tempted to grab it myself since I have a few stocks but no buffers, springs or receiver extensions.

Is it type E? I just put an A2 buttplate on my type E. Next best thing to a Colt CS stock.
