Has anyone had any luck with this combination?

Ive sent my M14 to the shop for a 470mm trim and the barrell will be threadded ready to go. I like the idea of an AR10 style muzzle break / flash hider - rather than the longer vortex style ones

unfortunately the direct connect SMITHS options arent readily available :(

Do the Skullboy trick. Contact ARWEN ACE and buy the 223 model. Then rim it out to work for a 308. The same smith that chops your barrel can rim it out. Looks good and works great too!

I have a Primary Weapons System triad supressor and a PWS Muzzel break/supressor combo both meant for the SR25 & AR10 platform. The thread pattern is 5/8 x24 on both and i grabbed a few 5/8x24 to 1/2x24 adaptors. These adaptors are not cheap btw. But its a thought in case you really want an AR10 supressor.

The break/supressor is a custom item by PWS and came with the adaptor, the Triad didnt.

thanks for the feedback. I understand the thread is purposely different to avoid "KaBoom" issues. I may have a spare SMITH vortex to work with and may have it reamed out to .30cal. The A2 flashider is simple and functional.
