A2 style stock

i tried searching this forum but i couldn't find anything.

i was searching the internet for an A2 style stock an i stumbled across a thread on another forum saying that almost every gun manufacturer buys there stocks from the same source and sells it for varying prices is this true? i can easily see it being the case. but for me i still want to find a high quality a2 stock for my ar does any one have any advice/experience? are they all the same?... should i go for the cheapest one?

If you're worried about quality, see if you can get a take off from an old Colt HBAR or SP1.
