I bought a savage A22 about a year or so ago. Shot great, cycled fine and was accurate enough for a semi-auto rimfire.

Out of nowhere the firing pin is jammed, it's not quite seized as I can still physically push it back and forth, but once the pin hits the primmer it doesn't retract and stays stuck forward. I've tried cleaning, soaking it in lubricants, soaking it in solvents but nothing seems to work

I believe savage welds the retainer pins in their bolts on the A22 so full disassembly is almost impossible

Does anyone have a possible solution that I'm missing? Other than sending the bolt in for repair?

You can punch out the rolled pin.

Call Savage they will send you out replacements for free. Same thing happened to me. One other guy on this forum had a stronger replacement option he had come up with

Hi
Had the same problem, take brass punch and tap out the roller pin that holds the firing pin in place'' the roller pin is likely broken in 2. The roller pin u need is 2mmX14mm
