A5 light twelve no repeat....sometimes?

Hi everyone,
I bought a browning light twelve a5 couple years ago on the EE. Took it out an shot 3 boxes through it and went home. Later I decided to sell it but no takers so I still have it. Then I took it to a shoot and after about 25 it stopped cycling.

I did clean it before the shoot by taking th barrel off etc, but never had it apart any further.
Looked up the right way to put the bushing online etc.
Any thoughts on how to keep it running??

Polish the mag tube, clean and oil.
Make sure your friction rings are set to the ammo you are using.
Helps to keep the the rear stock butt on your shoulder?
 
Maybe the cutt-off switch was flipped? It's on the left side of the receiver, near the magazine, and holds rounds inside the magazine tube instead of letting them cycle into the action.

What exactly is not happening?
Load, pull the trigger.........ker-pow.............then what?
Spent shell gets ejected and number 2 shell not coming up?
Inner mag tube shell follower hung up?

going thru the motions.

Pull the butt stock off then remove the action spring. Clean the spring and the interior of the action spring tube. I have had to do this on a couple that I have bought. They were slow to cycle the action. After the clean up the were like new!
 
Those vids are great thanks for posting them! As I remember it would eject the shell but not quite shove the new one into position.
I will definitely look into the butt stock spring. The metal is so nice I have been reluctant to open it up, I need to buy the proper parallel screwdriver first I guess!
