A7 outing with H1000 ,300WM , it's a start.

Your barrel will most likely speed up some with more rounds through it...looking a lot better than the vanguard :)

For the intended purpose of said rifle under particular parameters more velocity would be somewhat beneficial. That being said, a 190 LRAB even at modest velocities will have a very detrimental effect on critters out beyond my capabilities.

24" barrel.

I would also say their claim to 5 shot MOA accuracy is likely factual.

I haven't found one yet, that's close to factory fresh that won't hold within their claim, once you find that load.

I recently gifted my step son an A7, chambered for the 22-250. It shot 77gr SMKs under an moa with the very first load and just got better as the load increased.

Anyway, I'm happy you've now got a rifle the will work with you, chambered in your cartridge of choice.

it's slower burning than H1000 so you'll run out of case capacity before getting enough PSI / velocity

Look at RL22, RL23, RL19 for better velocity with less powder

Nope, I am pretty much limited to 3.340" as the magazine and feed ramp won't allow any longer.

As well, to single feed it cannot eject an unfired cartridge without removing the bolt.

I'm at the same seating depth with the 190ABLR. So the Ramshot Magnum should fit in the case. I just started to hear a crunch at 84grs. Federal case.

I am impressed with it.

Just had a brain wave, not sure if this would work....

Seat the bullet a bit, shake, seat a bit more, shake , let the powder go up the case walls a bit so that one isn't compressing it as bad.

Too much cough syrup for me?

With a 3/8" (.370") jump, is a giant leap. Unfortunately accuracy and velocity is lost from not reaching the lands, not including having the short 24" barrel. I would try Alliant #19 for increased velocity and accuracy. Your velocity is almost equivalent to the 30-06 Springfield.

looks like the accuracy potential of his rifle is very good, look above again at some of the groups he shot

Yes, I previously noticed that that he had three (3) potential accurate groups; two from the 180 gr. and one from the 190 gr. I'm saying not to give-up, try some different powder for improvement. He can also use a long neck funnel tube to pour his powder, it will give more room in the case, without the compressed bullet seating.

My A7 270 Win started to shoot really well when I got near the max velocity. That's seems to be the case in a lot of rifles I reload for.

Well, I'll carve up the action and magazine and feed ramp then weld on 2" to the end of the barrel. :)

I am however very curious how accuracy and velocity are lost from seating depth variances in your opinion?

And yes, I do know seating depth does effect case pressure.
