is anyone running one of these?

I'm interesting in one for my glock 17.

on the site it says they are designed for the stock triggers.

if I put in a 3.5lbs connecter lighting my trigger am I going to run into more problems? light strikes / misfires? or will it work fine?

also is anyone on glocktalk? I tryed to sign up there and it says my IP is banned. I tryed another and same thing, looks like they banned my whole block. Did they ban all canadian IP's or something?

Quite often sites ban HOTMAIL and AOL because they are free, anyone can get them and if you create problems on a site and are banned you just get another AOL free ticket and sign on as someone new and start making trouble again. Some sites have had so much problems with GUNKID and people like him, they just won't accept HOTMAIL and AOL. This may be your problem, maybe not. I just went to GLOCKTALK and at the top of the page they said they have had some major equipment problems , so that may be part of your problem. By the way I fired a GLOCK .22 CONVERSION on TUESDAY , it dropped right on the frame in seconds , shot good but was a little picky about the brand of ammo. The owner was using WIN WILDCAT which was not on the recommended list from the factory. They suggested the plated style of .22 ,not the waxy ones. Sorry I wasn't paying attention to the brand but I know it wasn't a CIENER. I was impressed with it, I would get one if I had TUPPERWARE.

FYI u may wanna do a search on this as this has been discussed at length numerous times. Bottom line is the AA kits are great but like was stated, a bit picky on what they are fed. U really need to ensure u use 40g ammo as the lighter bullet will frequently jam or misfeed. I luv mine.. Works flawlessly now that I know its diet. Personally I also feed it Wildcats as there are few plated/washed 40g choices out there and as messy as it is, its cleaner to run than some of the others. FYI they are avbl at TSE in Calgary for $349. Lastly, yur 3.5# will not have any impact on the function of the unit.

I just bought a used one on here and hopefully it will be in for a trip to the range on Wed night. I ordered a couple of bricks of Mini Mags as I saw in a pic that they were recomended for the AA kit. I think Velociters are 40 grain plated if I remember right.

I was aware of the ammo choice problem. my main question was regards to the 3.5lbs connector making it worse or not.

Scott, like I said above, the connector has no effect on the kits function. I use the AA kit on my Glocks, and I also have the 3.5# connector. You have nothing to worry about with that other than the fact that you will want lots of ammo..It is a ton o'fun

It says not to use Federal ammo due to FTF, stove pipes, mis-fires and light strikes.

I am running one on my glock 34 which has a 2lb trigger.Remington Golden works very well . Pro Bass was selling it for $13.99 a box of 525.Bought 6 boxes of that and 6 bricks of Winchester 40g high speed. The winchester has lots of light strikes, Two out of ten. The remingtons 525 and no problems. My barrel had chatter marks running down one side of the rifling. Ray.
