What a blast. Lots of fun. Great competitors from Qc and Ontario showed up. It was awesome to see people as far as the Toronto area, it was great meeting you guys. I know the barricade fire was tough, i know you ended up with and empty mag in the middle of a shooting sequence, the only thing i can say about that is: i am not sorry I MADE IT ON PURPOSE, ha ha ha... :ninja:

Every shooter received a lunch, baseball cap, T-shirt, poster and badge. Snacks and a beer or refreshment were also offered once all lanes were closed and all firearms were locked away. Category winners received medals. A Fenix flashligh, armorer's work and a club membership was drawn as participation prize.

All in all, i think everyone had a great time.

Please post your pictures and video here.

Mem! This was such a fantastic time, so much fun, beautiful weather, fantastic shooters. I suffered a few (a lot) of malfunctions but ha too much fun clearing them. The pistol course was awesome also! My phone was dead so no photos from me. Can't wait until next year! Thanks again to everyone who put the event on.

What a blast!! This was my first rifle competition ever and I LOVED IT!! The weather was perfect, the staff was great and we even got a T-shirt and a cap (plus all that brass for reloading). Now I realy need to practice shooting from the left because I sucked at it.

P.S: It was great meeting you guys from Toronto.

Yep good times! Super well organised, the t-shirt, cap, poster, badge, beer and hotdogs were a nice touch. I brought my father in law who is interested in shooting but did not sign up for the match, and all the same courtesies were extended to him. That's how you get new shooters involved! He now want's to shoot at the next match, so we'll be spending some time on the range prepping for that. A nice range with a great hard working bunch of volunteers to set this up for us. See you guys at the next one!

How did he enjoy it?

I'm hoping to see some of you guys again at some events in ont!

Lol same here... A couple of RO's mentioned something along those lines (very diplomatically, though) :p Great event guys, thank you!!!! You made it so it's safe even for people without holster certs to get involved in the sport. Can't wait to come out again, with my equipment dialed in and more training done. The QC gun nutz are A++++++++++ :)

Great pistol shooting, Jeff.. Placed 3rd first time out shooting PPC!!!

We were there for most of the award presentation ceremony, so Jeff went home with a well-deserved medal. Was watching that group and was thinking "whoever's scoring this one will have a TOUGH time"
Unfortunately, I had to quit before award presentation ceremony. :(

Did some people weren't there to receive their medals?
Did you remember the total score of the people who received medals?

Some may have been absent but it was a bit hard to follow as my French is almost non-existent. Came to Canada too late to be able to effectively follow it in school, so they waived the requirement for me. Didn't register any other scores, but I knew Jeff's since we came to the competition together.

Copy and paste from the other section:

I personally really enjoyed the shoot!
I have 8minutes of vid I will add later this week...
I want to also add I was very impressed with the range officers and how well everything was organized.
We need more people to support these events.
I have some good guys and shooters from Ottawa that will come next time.
Thanks Again for making this happen...

Good.. The more the merrier.. QC is currently a very gun-hostile province. The only way to fix it is to get more people involved in the sport and action shooting with firearms that appeal to the young crowds is the ticket. The better the attendance, the better the show. Considering how well this event was organized, it's a no-brainer. Just get out there, be safe and have a blast :)

We are still waiting for more pictures and vids ;)

We miss Tim screaming at us...

Mem

You know what, I don't miss that AT ALL. The ROs at the black rifle match were very respectfull. Their instructions were clear and they didn't mind to repeat them as much as you want.

As for Tim... He's the main reason that I don't go to the service rifle.

He only yells when people do asinine stuff. I too have a lot of respect for the amount of work he puts into us being allowed to shoot that game.
