AB hunting questions

Questions from a noob here. I have both my antlered/antlerless whitetail tag and my supplemental tag. It is clear that the supplemental tags must only be used in certain WMUs, but does it matter what order I use the tags? I haven't really found anything to clarify that.

Also, anyone know any good butchers somewhere around the south part of Edmonton besides Tofield?

There is no specified order that the tags must be used.You can use a supplemental tag and keep your general whitetail tag for a buck..

IMO good butcher shops who will give your meat the respect it deserves are getting harder to find these days. If anyone would know a good shop that you can trust with your meat it would be Randy(Huntinstuff).

Too add, your supplemental tags can be used in any order as long as they are used in the WMU's printed on the tag...

I have found that the better you clean your kill the more respect the butcher has towards it. Also, find out if any of them hunt themselves. They then know how much work and effort went into the animal. Once you find a good one, keep going there and tell your friends about it. They seem to treat you better if your a return costomer! Good luck
