Abomination? What optic would you use?

I just picked up a mount from a fellow CGN for the new CZ, and slapped on what I had handy. Abomination or not bad? I think it definitely take away from the classic RED look. What optic would you use?

I think that would wobble under fire to a degree that Caveman Eotech (the front sight protector ring) would be more accurate.
But just for show is fine.Something low, yes.

I think the best options for red-dot and still keeping it 'red' looking would be something like the Trijicon docter or NC Star Tactical Micro Holographic Red Dot Sight or anything that looks similar.

mount on the gas tube? I do not think this is a good idea caz gas tube moved a bit when you shoot, and it won't get back to zero after you remove it to clean.

I trimmed the portion of the scout mount that sticks out over the handguard. Put the Fastfire/Docter/whatever on the short piece of rail that remains (it's plenty long enough for such a small red-dot sight), remove the handguard for cleaning whenever you want without touching the sight, no worry about zero loss. Plus, the small red-dot sights sit very low and give you a much better cheek weld. Works great, and doesn't look too bad.

That sounds like a good plan, easy access to clean the nasty corrosive leftovers, without messing with the mount/optic, now to find a Fastfire or a Docter...
