About old BAIR 130 press

Similar to the CH Press I started with in 1967 and it had seen a few years before I.

They are pretty solid and I loaded everything I had from 222 Rem to 338 WM and 44 RM.

Great starting point. Bolt it down solid. Within reason I doubt you are strong enough to cause it to flex.

I convinced myself I needed a RCBS RockChucker. Now I have two and my son one.

Years ago I had a Bair press and some other Bair tools.
I still have and still use my Bair balance beam powder scale.
Bair products were well designed and strong.

Looks just mine... I see you still have the cup to catch the spent primers... and the primer arm attachment.

Good solid press. I've used mine for years loading .38 S&W, 9mm, 7.62 x 25, .303, and .308.

I'd put some decent bolts with washers in by the way.

Nice press, great condition. I had a Pacific Super Deluxe that looked almost identical to it. Used it for depriming mostly.
The linkage design doesn't give as much leverage as a rock chucker but it still did everything I put through it.

Takes the modern style shell holders which is awesome. As opposed to the screw on type or the ram type.
I love vintage presses.

I should do that... but I have some fun placing my thumb in just the right spot to kick the spent primer into my wastebasket.
