About Reverse Fake Cans

Finally made it to 3rd post, trying to find some meaningful topic to talk about instead of just hello * 3 times.
True North Arms has some fake suppressors(reverse ones). Which will make my 18.6-inch PCC look much more cool. But does it come with some draw backs? Like accuracy, recoil problem?

It comes with unnecessary added weight and an unnecessary lower bank balance.

I don’t think there are any negative impacts to accuracy. It’s just a personal preference.

Extra weight other than the cool factor I don’t think it serve any purpose

Depending on the rifle, the added weight up front helps reduce muzzle rise. I like the ones with a built in linear comp myself.

Buy the ones that slip over and also have a built in compensator or muzzle break. I have a TNW in 9mm the front of the gun is very light while the rear is heavier. The weight helped balance the gun in the front while also serving a second purpose of providing a muzzle device. If it doesn't have a muzzle break or compensator then is just a clunky cosmetic part.

I've been considering the TNA one with the brake myself. Worried about the weight though.

Just depends on what you put it on. Other than the TNW, I also have one on a wk180 that also has a 15" handguard. Looks slick, but by time you attach a stick grip or angled grip the front end is heavy.

Can't speak for a PCC, but I put one on a Model 700 and it got even more accurate than it was.

There's a version with an integrated brake so it's not just cosmetic.
