About to buy first AR-15 ---- Daniel Defense DDM4 V5----

Hey everyone! I am about to buy myself an early Christmas gift, a brand new Daniel Defense m4 V5. Just looking for some feedback from current Daniel Defense owners, experienced shooters, ect. What do you all think of this rifle? Anything I should know or consider before I make my purchase?

Have the exact same rifle, it's amazing. I use it for Tac Rifle and absolutely love it. I have an aimpoint Pro ontop, a BAD Lever (excellent upgrade) and a Geiselle SSA-E trigger.
I recommend buying CAA mags (or CCA can't remember , they are 10 round LAR mags I got from Alberta Rifle supply. I don't recommend regular LAR or Pmags cause I had seating issues with a closed bolt.)
 
Mine hasn't missed a beat since day one. My castle nut came loose even though it was lightly staked a couple weeks ago. Other than that, awesome rifle.

As Kanwar pointed out, there's a LOT of customizable upgrades out there. Upgrading to a Geiselle or Timney trigger is the next best improvement you can do on an AR. The stock DD trigger is a bit heavy and gritty.
