Hey everyone, this is my first real post and I apologize if this has been answered already but I couldn't find anything.
I started by reading the newbie FAQ, and learned that one cannot simply go to a shooting range and rent a gun to try it out without either being supervised or having a PAL. I'll definitely be asking it the forums if someone is willing to give me some of his time in my region (once my schedule opens up a little), but my question is if nobody can, should I simply go for a PAL right off the bat?
Oh and also, I've just read that you have to give references (who might get a quick interview?). As I said in my greetings, pretty much everybody I know is somewhat against firearms. Is that a problem or do the interviews rely not on their opinion of guns but on their opinion of me? It's just that even if I speak to them about it, I could definitely see my relatives try and stop anyone from getting close to a firearm
Thanks a lot!
