Absolutely speachless..... Think I'm getting married.

Lucky you. My wife got me "the wealthy barber" for Christmas, and complained about the MacBook I got her.

Then she read the wealthy barber, and started telling me I should make more money.

She got a $5 Starbucks gift card for our anniversary, and a $12 bottle of wine for her birthday.

I got me a Leupold VX-6 for our anniversary, and a Tikka Battue for her birthday.

Yup I wrote my provincial and interprovincial off hiway, already did my on road and passed both... Should have grades back by mid next week.... Bit nervous... Off road is horrible compared to on road, not that the actual theory is hard but that silly AIT test seems to test your patience rather than understanding.

Rifle is a 202 classic with the elegance bolt handle in 30-06, not super fancy lumber wich is what I was wanting so I would feel less guilty when I scratched it or bumped it while hunting... Funny... I was thinking this would feel a lot more Mauser'ish and handle like a tank, quite the contrary actually, it is polished and refined and almost dainty yet every piece is functional and robust where it needs to be.... And that set trigger is just "ooo'la'la"... Quite impressive.... Haha...

Does sauer make engagement rings for women? ;)

Dewd, yah gartzs tuh keep yer bedrewm sea-kritts konfuh-dentshawll...................:runaway:

I feel stupid but have to ask what is a "HET"? The ET part used to stand for Engineering Technologist when I went to SAIT..........but I can't put a handle on the "H"...................
And ya, we need pics of girlfriend for confirmation of story............kinda a "Proof of Life" thing, when telling unbelievable stories such as this..........

Heavy Equipment Technician... We used to be diesel mechanic's then heavy duty mechanics now we are technicians... I've been in the trade on an off for 12yr's but finally decided to chase my ticket a few years back an now it's allmost done.

Hmmmm I'll see what I can do about a picture, were kinda busy today tho

Don't post any pictures!!!

It's a TRAP!

Think about it for a second...you have this wonderful g/f who you HAVE NOT ( stupid, stupid, stupid!!) put a ring on her finger yet and a bunch of gun fanatics that are drooling over your brand new Sauer and the girl that buys them for her significant other.

And you are going to provide them information on how to find her and what she look like!!?? Lad...and please don't take this the wrong way...SMACK! :slap:
What were you THINKING??

But seriously, congratulations on finishing your ticket and on having a wonderful lady in your life.
Dave

(Now get a ring on her finger)

Gotta love it when folks can hook up & seal the deal with a gift that go boom. I pulled a similar move with my gal by first giving her a mint VZ 52/57 in 7.62x39 on Xmas morning, followed by an engagement ring.(Right after she finished feelin' over the rifle) We've been 25 yrs. together & diggin' it.;)

Congrats on the beauty Sauer & havin' a gal that's on yer side. Nothing says trust like a gift of a nice firearm.:)

On the heavy duty diesel side of things, I hope everything works out well.

P.S. Nothing.. but nothing sounds better than an old 2 stroke Jimmy at full song!:runaway:
