I picked this pistol up this week. Its the first ac45 P38 Ive ever seen in Canada, and looked to be original finish so i grabbed it. I had a hunch, but couldn't confirm until it arrived. It seems to fit the profile of one of the GI completed, GI assembled or cigarette pistols made at Walther immediately after capture.
Frame and slide are both c block but mismatched, single e/359 on side of frame, locking lug has no number, and barrel is a ac coded armorer spare. All e/359. A few phosphate parts such as extractor, top cover, and an unhardened in the white hammer.
My pistol photos are not as good as rifle photos, I struggle to show the real condition.
