Acceptance to EE

Can anyone tell me if I am not accepted to the EE thread will I be notified? My first application expired with no answer and I am on my second now. Does anyone know if this is typical perhaps just too many requests?

I doubt you will be notified, wait and see what happens. If you can't get on in a while perhaps ask admin whats happening.

Just joined this (not EE) and from what I can tell:
- you have to have a membership here for three months
- post at least ten times on threads other than the Greeting and others (see list on EE FAQ)
- hope they accept your application (wait at least 8 to 10 days)
- you only find out if you are accepted by going to EE forum and clicking on threads that used to be 'private.'

Seems pretty straight forward.
