Access to grapes and apples during OFF season.

I have easy access to grapes and apples during the off season and I want to use them as dear bait but come october-november they're no longer ripe. I tried freezing them and once thawed deer don't even touch them (LOLLLL). Any ideas what can be done to use them instead of seeing them go to waste?

Find a bear bait guy that can use the stuff, if legal in your area.

The apples should keep if you keep them cool and humid. Refrigerator (beer fridge) or cold room would work.
