Against conventional wisdom and my better judgement I purchased a new Norinco NZ 85B. I have to confess I'm very happy with this purchase - normally buying the low price option turns out badly for me.

Anyway, although there's many things I like about this pistol, there are a few I'd like to improve. I'll have a gunsmith improve the trigger for me. But, I'd also like to replace the ugly rubber grips with wood and to replace the fixed 3 dot sights with target sights.

Perhaps once it has a decent trigger I may want to make other improvements (or have a gunsmith do them for me)

Does anyone know where I could buy accessories for this pistol?

I think you can use standard Hogue grips, but if you want wood it may have to be a custom job which may cost you more then the gun...

I have the same gun and like it quite a bit. I put the hogue rubber finger groove grips on mine, easy fit, so any cz grip should fit. A gunsmith recommended replacing the springs in the trigger to get a cleaner trigger. Mags also swap nicely.

Sights will be an issue, I measured the width of the dovetail on the nork and cz and found about 1mm difference, with CZ being bigger, so any sight upgrades will likely require cutting to fit them. A cheap fix is to take a small drill bit, twirl it between your fingers to clean the yellowed paint out and then using one strand from a paint brush, put a couple of drops of white hobby paint into the holes, certainly helps brighten them up for no real cost!

My biggest ##### about the gun is that the serrations in the rear of the slide are to shallow and it makes the already small slide hard to grip, if you are doing action shooting, then you can’t use grip tape to solve the problem.

X2, especially if your like myself and generous with the spray lube.
