I've been looking all over the net for the extra full extra long choke tubes for my 1300 but have'nt been able to find anything. I want a little extended range for geese, so even a turkey choke would help. When I look through cabelas and sir, I find tubes for every other maker but winchester. Anyone have any ideas where a guy can find these?

GILLY, Just be careful "squeezing" large size steel shot through an extra full tube... My guess is that the turkey tubes are NOT designed for steel to be fired through them...

I can say that my benelli nova came with 3 tubes, IC, Mod and Full, ALL of which say on them that they handle steel... But the extra full your looking for might result in poorer patterns...

Cheers

Alot of the turkey chokes like already mentioned are not suitable for shot over #4 or with steel shot. Even if they were they wont give you that much more extra range. 4-5yrds maybe. Just let them get in closer or dont shoot at the far ones. I'm not sure which choke is in your 1300 but I know some the Winchester chokes were interchanbleable with the Browing Inv. series. Which ever they were they weren't the ones with the knurled end sticking out the end of the barrel (Winchoke I believe), they were the flush mount ones what ever Winchester called them.

Try colonial arms:

They list Invector tubes under their steel shot chokes, but I'm sure they could find you some Winchoke tubes instead. I'm using one of their extra-full chokes for steel on my 1300 and absolutely love it - the ducks drop like they were stabbed out of the sky. Unfortunately, I had my 1300 custom machined to their choke system so I don't use the Winchoke or Invector...great place to order from as well - no worries (not sure how new U.S. regulations apply to choke tubes though).
