Does anyone have any experience with the Savage Accutrigger system?

I am trying to figure out which 22 to buy, The Mark II has the accutrigger and runs for about 209 here and the 64 which doesnt have it is on sale at another store for 139.00 that seems to be the biggest difference between the two after a really quick search i might be wrong on that.

Does anyone have any experience they would like to add? This is strickly targets and a gopher gun.
 
Try them both.

I was faced with the same question. I bought the AccuTrigger.

Once you try it, it won't be a question any more. It's that good.
 
the 64 is a semi-auto, the mk2 is a bolt. They're very different guns, completely different actions. The mk2 is a pleasure to use and shoot. Mine is very accurate. The 64 is nothing special as far as semi autos go; I'd take the mk2 in a heartbeat over a 64.
 
yes i am aware they are different but it was more of the price that was interesting to me is all, I kind of want a Bolt but the price was appealing is all.

I have 2 Savages with the Accutrigger, a 111 in .270 and a 93BTVS .22WMR. The Accutigger is the best thing going, probably why you are seeing other manufacturers putting out their own factory versions of it. Once you try it, you'll want it on all your guns. I know I do.
