Hi everyone,
Just a quick one..... Anyone loaded 200 gr accubonds for a 30.06? If so, did they work good, any problems? Any loads to share? I have some of these, and some very nice Lapua brass, and was thinking about loading some up. My rifle is a Savage American classic in 30.06. I have always liked 180 gr bullets for 30.06, and have never tried 200gr. Wondering if I should give it a try, or trade for 180's.
Would appreciate any ideas/thoughts etc.
Thanks,
Eastman.

I shot some 200 Partitions and some 200 Accubonds out of my M700 SSDM Remington.
I was loading them in front of 58.0 grains of Norma MRP. [24" barrel]
They are flirting with 2700 fps, and both shot very well indeed.
Would make a very good "heavy" load for bigger, [or nasty] game.
Regards, Eagleye.

Interesting you bring this up. Just ordered a press for reloading from Prophet River and was thinking about getting some Accubonds to start. They only had the 165gr and 200gr. I was looking for 180gr as I've been told that it is a good all around size for moose, deer etc. Let us know how it goes with the 200gr if you do it.
