Accuracy 1st DG Whiz Wheel

I don't recognize the name. Is it a generic whiz wheel or do you send in all your rifle and load info and they build the calculator around it?

The custom wheel is an excellent verification for your cold bore shot Im told.

yes custom

Yes, sorry Jamie I just Googled it.

Like I say I haven't used theirs but Im guessing they are all similar.

If you are using them for competition my guess is they would be ok.

If you need a solution verified quickly for a cold bore shot at distance it is very good.

To go a bit off track, how does it compare to the Mildot Master??
I believe the one Jamie asked about and the one I spoke of are a good training tool and back up calculator. The one I mentioned is a full custom manual circular slide rule for that serial number and a particular load. I imagine the other is too.

My understanding is if you know your coldbore solution for the current target it can be used to verify your data. Conversly if you need a ballistic solution it can give that info to you in order to set up the shot. I don't compete so I can't speak to it's value there.

Mildot master is more of a hunting range and holdover method IIRC. Most folk that shoot that reticle do that as a minimum or dial up down.

Im hoping some more active/current shooters will chime in about their field experience with the whiz wheel.

FDAC on there site I did not see a option for custom loads? and yes more of a back up system
