It's possible to cut the tips equal length or you need micro seating dies that are coming to market these days.

I even cut the tips of 165 gr Ballistic Tips ( green tips) since they don't fit in 300 WM Browning 's Mag and shoots deer and moose both with them , Because the 78gr H4831 was getting compressed and its longer bullets

A seating die, even without the micrometer adjustment isnt that hard to adjust buddy, just follow the instructions provided with the dies, and if you don't have any, well just get them online.
Is it possible to cut a bullet?= yes
Is it sane?= no

This guy is a troll. Even though I do find his BS mildly amusing I can't wait for his next post. I would like to know what ranges he shoots at so I know what ones to stay away from. He sounds too dangerous for me.
