Nice you are one lucky guy, now can change out your 24" barrel to20" any time you want, It would be nice if Ai start bring in 260R, 243w or even 7-08.
 
For everyone who is waiting I found some hi res pics of the AT model. And this also confirms that they kept the thumbhole stock sides as an option.





 
Was gonna start a new thread but I figured this would be a better option to ask here. They don't support the Savage action do they? Have been kinda day dreaming about getting an AI chassis, but the only thing I own is a Savage.

They have savage action AICS. However, they are extremely difficult to get up here. Snipers hide has some really good reviews of them and them all set up. I asked wolverine to see what is the ETA on them being able to purchase here. Yeah, no. We're not going to see them for a long time.

I want one more than anything lol.
 
Thank you, I knew there was a thread somewhere. I thought that I heard something about a private company making their own amd got in trouble from AI. So I guess 8f I want one, best bet is to get a Remington action eh... That's gonna take some doing...

Got the AX308MC out for a few shots today. Took five shots to get a good zero. The next five shots from the rifle (shots 6-10) went through the same hole!!! Couldn't be happier with this rifle.

The five shot group measured:
0.460"
-0.308"
=0.152"

 
Holy Sh!t that is an nice group Jay! What ammo were you using? The best I've done with my AW so far was .268" for five. Looks like these new rifles are going to be every bit as impressive as the older ones.

Thats kinda the funny part as I typically use lapua brass, neck turn, unify primer pockets, seat 5-10 thou from lands, 2 thou neck tension, etc.

That group was just some loads that I threw together to test in a M40 clone and thought I might as well try them in the AI just to see how they shoot. It's just Federal once fired brass thats been full length sized and trimmed to length, no other prep. 175gr SMK seated to 2.810" with 5 thou neck tension. 44.0gr Varget. Fed 210M Primer. I'm interested to see how they shoot at long range.
 
Well it certainly looks like you have a winner. Mine also loves the 175SMK and I only FL size my brass.
