Howdy boys, I'm having a tough time finding good loads for the 225 and 250 grain Nosler Partitions in my .35 Whelen 700 CDL.

I've seen 'almost acceptable' accuracy with Varget behind the 250 (almost acceptable, but not great), but nothing approaching an accuracy load for the 225. Anybody have a pet load? Advice about seating depth (I've got them both just off the lands now)? Thanks!

60/61 grains of Reloder 15 in a R-P case fired by the WLR primer. Good velocity and right on 1 inch for 3 at 100 meters. Good velocity also. Start at 59 and work up please. Regards, Eagleye.

60.0 RL 15, Fed 210, Rem 35 Whelen brass, Hornady 250 sp ,.030 off the lands with no crimp. last group out of my CDL Ran .580 center to center for 3 shots at 100 yds. consistently under an inch and usually around .850
Reloader 15 seems to work real well in the Whelen

My 35 Whelen load gives me 2600 to 2650 fps(measured) from 60.0gr(0.5gr over max as per Alliant load info) of RL-15 behind a Hornady 250gr SP and a WLRM primer. That load in my Rem 7600 will put 3 rounds into .75".
