Accuracy node with different powders

I'm about to run out of the 8lb powder. I'm entertaining the idea of switching powder.
I already have a load developed for my rifle and bullet. If I switch to a faster burning powder, can I just tune my load for the same velocity and expect similar accuracy result?

But load that velocity and two slightly higher and heavier loads and test at 300 to 500 yards and there is a good chance one of those loads will work.

what is slightly? 0.1 grain or 0.2 grain?

I generally use 0.3 gr for searching for a load.
