I am not looking to build a tack driver but I want a light squirrel gun with an adjustable stock. The plastic stocks like the ATI Strikeforce for instance. How rigid are they? I have a decent shooting gun with a wood stock but was wondering if the polymer stocks would be less accurate?

Oops. 10/22. Not looking to break the bank. I have built stocks and chassis for both rimfire, rifle and even slug gun in the past. I understand bedding and aluminum block chassis etc… But for the Ruger, I don’t want to break the bank and don’t have the time to build a complete chassis for it right now. Looking for a quick n cheap stock that at best, won’t be worse than the original wood.

I never found anything by ATI ridged. Only way it would shoot less accurate if it shifted in the stock.
But also I found that even a Magpul X22 Hunter stock, had more flex than a wood stock. I went back to wood stock on my 1022.

Interesting. I have a wood stock here but I am kind of looking for a fun/tacticool look. My mp5 navy homebuilt is quite accurate but the paralax from the really high scope causes some impact up and down changes at distance. its great and accurate at known range but I want a squirrel gun build that the up and down change is minimized under 50 yards.
