Just had an interesting day at the range which I have mixed feelings about.
I purchased a brick of Federal Gold target .22's and I'm severely disappointed. I'm shooting about 6" groups at 50yds.
This is where it gets interesting. I got to talking to another guy at the range and he JUST so happens to have 5 rounds of Eley .22 target ammo with him. He gives them to me and I put 3 through the same hole, 1 flyer and 1 FTF. Disregarding reliability, I was hung up on the 3 rounds through the same hole at 50yds - what my rifle was doing out of the box when I first got it. Now I'm looking at having to spend ~$600/5000 rounds if I can find some anywhere just to replicate what the gun could do in the beginning... That's $60 a brick, and I don't know if I can justify that
