Who says Remington is junk? I finally went out to range with Gravel replaced Remy 7600 pump in 243.

I loaded up some Nosler Varmint (70 gr) as well as some Hornady v-max and Nosler 80's.

Wow...that silly thing shot the 70 gr pills to 0.8" @ 100 yards!

I'm impressed. Now it's out to the farm for a little coyote pillaging.

any body who owns one regardless of caliber would tell you the 7600 are capable of shooting MOA or at least any i have owned can.all of mine with factory ammo as i just started reloading and have not loaded any for those rifle yet.

I have a 7600 in .243 and have had numerous 3/4 inch 5 shot groups @ 100 with 87 grain Vmax and 42 grains of H4350.
105 grain Amax and 32 grains of varget shoot a little better but destabilize in minus temps. Its a 1 MOA gun for sure.

I have a 7600 308 that is also very accurate.

I think the barrels on these Remingtons are at least as accurate as my Savage Bolt rifles. But its much easier to be repeatably accurate with the bolt guns on the bench and you can accurize bolt rifles to squeeze out even more.

But 7600s Rock!

my rem 700sps varmint 243win shoots exceptionally well with handloads.
70gr nossler
80gr nossler
55gr nossler
65gr v-max
I;m curious as to what your load is for the 70gr pills is and if you chronied them,,my 70gr load is extremely accurate but a lil slow 2954fps,but it was the most accurate node.

No one that shoots a 7600 will tell you it is junk.I have a few of them and my 243 is as good as most bolt actions I have for coyotes.
