finally located a supplier in canada that was able to bring in the accurate mags drop in dbm for savage rifles.
it was a very snug fit, but it was infact a drop in replacement that accepts AICS pattern magazines. the quality appears top notch and it feeds and functions flawlessly. overall i'm very happy with this product. worth mentioning for those that end up going this route are the action screws. non are supplied with this dbm. and maybe they aren't needed in other stocks... but in the HS precision stock longer action screws are needed. so keep that in mind. i just went to an auto parts store and bought new ones for $0.50 and cut them to size.
if only i could find a similar product for my model 70's i'd be a real happy camper.
heres a couple shots to give you an idea of fit and finish.

if you are interested in these i would get in touch with Gary Eakin/Bighorn Sales (Bighorn Sales on CGN) as i am sure he's love to help you out.

Very nice, I was hoping to put one on my savage last year but couldn't source one up here. Could you post a rough price and maybe a link to a website or email, i didn't have any luck with google.

Bighorn Sales contact info

I bought a Benchmark for one of my 700s from Gary, nice folks to deal with.

Not sure if the contact info is still any good but this is what i scribbled down on my build sheet;

Gary Eakin, Bighorn Sales, Houston BC. (205)845-4196. thereamerguy@yahoo.ca

Not sure about the Houston part, i cant read my own writing...:redface:

I bought some stuff from Gary also, defineately a great guy to deal with. I wish there was options like these for the long actions.

I'd be interested on pricing on mags as I currently only have 1 10 rounder and am looking at getting a couple of 5 rounders. I have found both to be hella expensive (the accurate mags and AICS). Thanks in advance for any info, also feel free to PM me a well!

There 219$ on the US website. so I would assume 250 ish CDN.

Looks good but for people with the savage tupperware accustock the MDT LSS is a better option.

and Accurate Mags are available from MDT as well...
