Hello all

I shoot bernaul. Ive never even touched anything else in my life. BUT Ive realized its a crap shoot in the accuracy department. What are some other non corrosive options?

Hornady might be good for someone going marksman with the 7.62 x 39, but nobody should go marksman with this round :p. Anything more affordable?

Are you choosing accurate/consistant or affordable? You only need a box of ammo for hunting so buying the premium stuff for when it counts matters. Still have to trial a bunch of different round thru my gear. I have built a big collection of milsurps in short order many of which i intend to hunt with. Cheapest noncorrosive i have seen online is tula ammo bt waiting on some 54R rounds to come in as well before i order from them.

Hornady SST

I use it for deer hunting, can get sub 2" groups with it out of my Zastava bolt, sub 3" groups out of both my SKS's and my 858 with it.

But it's too expensive to shoot in bulk.

I still have a few thousand rounds of the Dominion stuff left, and it beats the Barnaul by a country mile. For bulk plinking, it's the way to go, if you can find it anywhere (still shows up at gun shows etc.)

If you can find some Dominion Arms/LCW for sale it performed very well in my SKS. Grouped much better than MFS. Tulammo also worked well but is more costly.
