I tried to find info on the internet on Accurate Powders Green 2015 and/or
Accurate Powders Red 2230.... as it pertains to reloading .243 winchester.
have I just not found the right page ... or ?
thanks guys...

It gives you a burn chart, and tells you neither of those powders are great for the 243.

You'll need to check more books, and you really should have more information that an "oh use xx grains from some guy on the internet" as there is a lot more to it than that.

Ideally you should get another powder.

That being said. I will pm you.

Where did you find those powder names - I am not finding them - "Accurate Powders Green 2015" and "Accurate Powders Red 2230" - I found data for Accurate 2015 and Accurate 2230, none with any bullet weight in 243 Win - but not seeing the "Green" or "Red" in the title either?? I have a few containers of Accurate 2230 - the brand name "Accurate" is within a red banner. I also have Accurate 5744 - the brand name "Accurate" is in what I would describe as blue/green banner. Are these the colours that you refer to - see picture below ??

Ok, spent a bunch of time going through my reloading books.

Nothing in Lee 2nd, Hornady 10th, Western Powders 1.0 (softcover). Lyman 48 has loads for 2015 for 70 and 75 grain projectiles. The really old Accurate book (1992) has a full range of load data from 60 gr to 115 gr. However, Accurate 3.5 (2011) has no data for 2015 which is concerning. No manual at all has any info for 2230 for Win 243.

I'm agreeing with Potashminer - little concerning about the names you are using. There is no "green 2015". There is Accurate 2015 and Accurate 2015BR. Accurate 2230 and Accurate 2015 are probably not good powders for 243 - they are too fast.

Note to OP - regarding old data in older Western Powder books - page 1 of my Western Powders 5.0 has notice top right of page in a border "Note: Load Data in this Guide supersedes all previous Accurate and Ramshot Load Data" - I take that to mean that Western Powder no longer stands behind previously published data by them. I see the same Notice on page 16 of version 7.0, and I see from Internet that there is now an 8.0 version out somewhere, now.

Though numbered & labeled the same-

Accurate Arms powders from TN. & Accurate Powders from MT. are NOT the same burn rate.

Accurate Arms powders being slightly slower burn rate.
