I was shooting whit gloves on and I had 4 malfunction in 20 rounds.... Never happened to me without gloves... I have a rifle basix on the way so no big deal but I thought I would share this flaw of the trigger...

Yup square on. This was my first time shooting this with gloves on.... What a P>I>T>A... if you just touch the trigger without the silver tab all the way in the trigger locks up,,,

Not sure if having my trigger set to the lowest pull helped any. But what a sh!tty deal... Im pretty sure the glove would catch the trigger just enough and I didnt feel it....cant wait to install my Rifle Basix even more now....

The Click with no BANG trigger lock up is at 45 sec.

Yeah Ive shoot this riffle plenty... This was my first time with gloves.... Thinking back to last year deer hunt, Im glad that didn't happen.... lol ....

Its because of the gloves....you are pushing the trigger sideways before pulling straightback...remove the gloves and I'm sure the problem will be gone.

Sounds like a shooter problem, not a trigger flaw....

Can't shoot with gloves on, then don't . Sounds to me like the trigger is functioning exactly how it should.. Safty isn't depressed completly the hammer is blocked from setting the round off

None of my other guns do that.... Wait ! none of my other guns have that stupid trigger system in them... lol ....

Just waiting on gstprecision.ca ( he lives 4 houses down from me ) To get his order in of R.B triggers...

Tighten your spring and it'll go away.

Like Clartar said, tighten the spring a tad away from the bare lowest and the material of the glove won't push the trigger back before the plate. I am guessing the material of the glove is softer and forming around the mid insert and pushing the very low trigger early.

I have a SAV-2 trigger in one of mine. You'll love the after market stuff;) No worries about the safety tab being fully depressed. Thick gloves don't help at all with that!

Its a safety feature built into the accutriggers.. to prevent an accidental discharge with the safety off.. pushing the trigger laterally decocks it. so that objects getting into the trigger guard dont trip the trigger.

stop putting lateral force on the trigger with your ham-sticks

I have the same problem with a new Savage LRP I just started shooting. It has the target version but it does the same thing. It's not set super light either. Not impressed with the acutrigers and i shoot a few of them. Rifle Basics inbound. Oh and I'm not shooting with gloves on either.

a few of the American sites have mentioned problems with gloves & accutrigger. Just put SAV-1 Rifle Basix in my 110 ba. I did have to remove a bit of material from the rear of the chassis where the over travel screw was coming in contact and the safety wouldn't engage. "docv73" has some good instal/adjusting videos on youtube.

good luck

Happened on mine all the time... thought I realized that is what a functioning accutrigger is supposed to do. I also had mine set to as lite as possible, the accutrigger would saftey would engage if you closed the bolt anyway but butter smooth. Not good for RBM, but I loved it for deliberate shooting.

It doesnt sound like a "malfuction" as much as it sounds like the acutrigger is doing its job and not allowing the gun to go off by accident.

You can't do surgery with winter gloves on. The low weight of the Accutrigger is for bare-hand, precision work. For gross-movement stuff, like gloves, turn it back up.
